MVI’s MVI Interactive™ Platform provides organizations the capability for rich user interfaces, flexible content management, and an extensible service-oriented component architecture that delivers just the functionality that an organization requires.  It supports the JSR 170 standard specification for content and the JSR 168 standard specification for portlets. This means that functionality deployed in other systems that is compliant with these specifications can be deployed in the Platform.

The Platform is inherently designed for flexible administration in a multi-tenant, private label environment. Administration can be centralized or delegated as appropriate and permissioning can be extremely granular with respect to access and rights. This means personalization of individual users spaces, groups, locations, organizations, and the enterprise is easily managed. It also means that one implementation can address many application requirements and constituencies.

Content management is extremely robust in the platform with built-in versioning, workflow for approval, and search. Functionality also exists for both power users and novices alike so that the system can respond to the skill sets of the users themselves.
