The TPA Alliance Announces MedicaView Partnership for
Affordable Medical Travel Solutions

 
Atlanta, GA-USA, June 22, 2009 –The TPAA (Third Party Administrator Alliance) today announced an agreement with MedicaView to provide special access to MedicaView’s Global Connect™ platform. TPAA members will have direct access to the innovative Medical Travel (Medical Tourism) platform with the largest International Preferred Provider network in the world backed by a proven, flexible, and comprehensive healthcare and travel distribution technology. Now TPAA members can offer their clients access to high value, affordable healthcare for traditionally high cost healthcare procedures.
 
The Global Connect™ platform streamlines the process of finding, comparing, and choosing affordable healthcare procedures and services while integrating an online travel agent capability. The agreement also gives TPAA members access to facilities and doctors in destinations such as Singapore, Latin America, India, Malaysia, Thailand, etc., as well as select facilities in the United States that are providing affordable package pricing.
 
TPAA members adhere to high standards of professionalism and innovation as they seek to deliver ever higher levels of service and capabilities. They represent just under 500,000 lives throughout the United States.
 
As part of the new agreement, Third Party Administrators receive access to advanced multi-lingual portal and community (social networking) functionality together with eCommerce options to efficiently address the needs of employers and employees alike. The Global Distribution Platform for Healthcare can be delivered in a MedicaView-provided employer portal or can be easily integrated into existing employee web portals. Available online resources include: integrated HSA management tools, consumer directed and health oriented functionality, medical libraries, etc.
